I have a Spec that one Wayne Harris did for some company called Rockford Fosgate back in the day.
Well, I recently got my hands on this item in this case an EPX2. It may sound silly, but I have wanted one of these bad boys for a long time... Enough story time.
I am trying to make it fit the theme of my install. I really wish I knew how to program the chip, but that is way out of my league. So I am just trying to make some cosmetic changes. I have tracked down the subminiatutre leds used in the RDAT and found blue ones for that, but the 40X2 display appears to be custom made and possibly controlled. No offense, but Rockford Fosgate was clueless and only wanted to sell me a replacement. I want to get something with a blue background or foreground. The problem is I have no way to match it up to the Samtron unit in the RDAT. Can you help me?
