After venturing back into home theater and completing my setup there, I've finally been wandering back into car audio and am ready to complete my system.

I'll be doing my front soundstage. Going with the ID Chameleon components (not sure which size yet) and the IDQ Midbass 6.5" drivers. I was thinking of getting the MTX 6304 to drive all of them. I'm currently using MTX for my sub amp, so I'd like to stay with them.

I'd like to bandpass the midbasses. Maybe 80hz - 200hz, but who knows what it'll actually be in the end.

Looking for the easiest solution to do this, or how I should do this setup in general.

Thanks a bunch.

Coustic Xm5e or Phoenix Gold Mx3i will do the job nicely. They are both "true" 3-ways which will enable you to high-pass, bandpass, and low-pass.

being an owner of the coustic xm-5e, i very much would have to agree.

but if you could wait until next month---coustic is going to start shipping out the vaunted xm-6, which has time alignment and other bells and whistles.
