as the topic says...i might be looking into getting a new one to replace my AC 2XS but haven't looked at em in so long i dunno what is out there now.

tryin to keep it under $100...preferably with adjustable crossover points.

does that have adjustable crossover points? used to have an older Coustic amp (AMP-210 i think...50W X 2) but am not really a fan of their stuff...

Why are you replacing the audiocontrol? I love AC stuff and would probably replace it(if broken) with another Ac.

thanks HCCA....but not really looking for Coustic appreciate the offer tho

yeah, i was considering replacing it with another 2XS and considering the JBL 1200's don't have a subsonic filter on them the stock 20Hz (or is it 30?) would be good.

the one i have now is a '97 model and i changed the xover from 90 to 80Hz and the subsonic to 10Hz (AC said not to go any lower than 10Hz chip). unfortunately, after years of use one of the RCA inputs has become kinda loose and likes to ground out or something and cause my signal to fade way out. i've taken it apart and checked the circuit board but can't tell where the problem is...might give it another go soon...we'll see.
