ok, i know someone with a 5 year old phoenix gold 31 channel equilizer. it's a pg 31sx. is this any good? also, there is a lanzar 30 channel eq for $150 at the local store. on one hand, the lanzar is brand new, on the other hand, pg is a really high quality brand... not that lanzar isn't but pg has more respect than lanzar... any input on the pg product, or would you just go with the lanzar eq? thanks alot.

I've never heard of the PG 31sx, they made the EQ230 and EQ232 whcih were 31 band stereo EQs, and the EQ215 that was stereo 15 band.
