Are there any other EQ/DSP/Xover combos that have an RS-232 connection so that you can tweak them with a computer? I have an in car computer and I was thinking of getting a 4000x but wondered if there were any other units out there that offer this. Anyone know?

Didn't realize the DEQ30 had a serial input. What is the computer software like that controls it? The Matronics software for the 4000x is pretty nice looking. Is the DEQ30 software similar? Thanks for the quick reply.

Is the Matronics software you refer to the Sony software that comes with it or is it something different. I remember there being some site about the 4000x, but I have lost the adress, does anybody have it.

http://www.matronics.com/xdp4000x/

Here's the Matronics site with the software I was speaking of. I'm not sure if the interface is the same as the original Sony software and they've just given it a facelift and some new features or if they totally rewrote it.

I think I'll probably go with the XDP-4000X. It is great people are still developing for it so maybe if I run into problems or have questions there will be someone there to answer them. I have spoken with sony Tech support before and they weren't the most knowledgable about older products.

Thanks for all the info guys.
