I was looking at DVD/CD/MPS players and have pretty much narrowed it down to 2 dif. Alpine setups
1.TME-M790 w/ DVA-7996

2.CVA-1006 w/ DHA-S680

any other ideas??
I already know about Kenwood and don't want it an I will not run Pioneer.
Eclipse seemed like a nice setup but looked like ther where to many parts to get everything I want. Am I wrong???

Eclipse has a few models that are cd/dvd/mp3/am/fm and screen built in. You can add navigation or voice control to it as well. Clarion has a unit that includes all the cd/dvd/mp3 in one too, but I have always preferred eclipse. They also have one that has built in dts decoding too which is nice.
