I am installing a Clarion HU in a 95 Ford Probe. The problem is I cant get the power antenna to work. Everything else works fine. Can somebody tell me what wire it is. Or give me some suggestions. The antenna worked fine before. I hooked up the power antenna wire from the HU to the wire that said "radio on" but nothing happened.

If you used a wire harness then it would be a solid blue wire you would connect to, if nothing then let me know it could require a relay.

I am connecting the wires from the HU to the wires in the car. I didnt buy one of those wiring harnesses. Neither set of wires has a blue wire. I have a brown wire that from the Clarion that is suppose to connect to the power antenna, but I cant get anything to work.

The brown wire on a Clarion is usallly a phone mute wire. If you dont have that wire on your HU then it must be missing....let me know the model # and I will give you a hand...as far as the car goes I will check and see what wire it is......

if nothing else you could probably use the ignition power from the vehicle. the antenna would always be up but at least it would work.(I think?)there should definitely be a blue wire from the hu, that is the pwr ant. wire. Also the brown wire off of the hu is a telephone mute wire.(at least it has been for years)

Hey dbvette, you're from Parsons? Would you happen to know a certain Adam Grimes from down there?
