Just installed the RFX8230 in my car last night. Im impressed with it so far

THINGS I LIKE:
*Knob is nice, tactile and easy to use.. takes a concious effort to push it, so you dont screw up on the road.
*SQ is really nice, plenty of midbass
*Nice, easy to use, not alot of "junk" on the face
*Seperate SEEK and MANUAL buttons.. i like this feature
*AUX input, i dont know what ill do with it yet, but ill find out.. hehe MiniDisc??
*Sub output,
*Disc titling, Station Titling
*Remote Control has FULL FEATURES, big enough not to lose, small enough not to be cumbersome
*Display easy to read, even in sunlight

THINGS I DONT LIKE:
*Eject button tiny, on the wrong side.. whats up with this!?
*Clock stays on full time, reverts back to clock, (you can program this to stay on what you change it to, but... still... ya know?)
*The remote control is hard as hell to operate, buttons are slow to respond.. and small
*Preout voltage seems a little light, had to turn my amps gains up, from my Pioneer 6000..
*Wire harness is a BITCH.. Damn big black boxes with more wires sticking out of it!.. make all wires the same length, with NO big obstructions on the harness, ugh

TO CONCLUDE:
so far, i love this deck..... works great, great sounding deck, actually have to turn the treble down, it has A LOT clarity to it..i would reccomend it to anyone looking to get a damn good deck at a damn good price ($176 shipped from crutchfield)

Thanks for reading, offer any input or thoughts you may have, or any questions, ill try to answer them accordingly
(yeah, sure.. as if i really know what im talking about..)
Ryan
