my explorer is 50hz at around 155db. i am in street class so i need to keep the deck in dash. would i be able to insulate the deck from skipping or is it not even worth trying? i just wanted to know if it was possible. i have a alpine deck. thanks.

you should get flip out or double din dvd/cd player they dont tend to skip hardly ever depending on the brand you get but even the cheaper brands are better than the regular cd players plus the flip outs and double dins from jvc aresnal are off the hook and prices have went down dramatically
