I have a older eclipse ( 8v ) 5 years old or so starting to go i think,, but anyways looking for a nice deck Must have GOOD skip protection ( my car is lowered and feels like its going to explode over every bump ) Was looking at pioneer alpine and possible another eclipse Trying to spend less than 400 these are a few i had in mind.. as far as features , just ipod capability or hook up would be nice.. Just wondering people s opinions on what im looking at .. thnx

I remember seeing some videos somewhere of how someone felt about soundstream decks. The loved them so much that after 3 bad ones, they decided to smash them with a hammer

Don't reccomend another Eclipse. The last one I had was last year's model cd5000 and it had no pause button. Bad for a db drag deck.
