Does anyone know how to unlock a kenwood that never had a security code set in it?

Ok to unlock the code , i was told u need the remote ,and the code is KCAR .But it is suppose to be put in via the remote .

Well she lost the remote and now remembers setting a code but can't remember it so I gave her the number to Kenwood Tech support and she is currently playing phone tag. Thanks for trying though.
