Im checking shorts in my car I did find 2 of them with the negative terminal unhooked from the negative clamp and used a test light.
I got it narrowed down to 2 things 1) I disconnected the head unit short dissapeared, hooked it back up short appears, all the wiring is correct and I tried it with 2 different head units with the same results. So I narrowed down the wires and nothing as soon as i take the ground wire off the short disapears reconnect it short appears. Its like the ground has power coming from it.
The other short is in the main fuse box pulled the fuse for the horn/brakelights and it was gone now i have to find the short.
Is there anyone who can tell me the easiest way to find a short?
