I can get the pioneer 6800 for 200 new or the 7800 model for 300 new. I really like the way the 7800 model looks and its newer. but is it worth it or not? because I am kind of on a tight budget. I still have to pay for my box, wires and the install. So any advice I really appreciate it

I've had both and liked them equally. They are the same unit except the 7800 has more 'entertainment' options. If you want to save money, get the 6800.
