I have a two year old Sony single Cd changer and was wondering If I should replace it...Has technology advanced enough so that I could get more adjustability, and better sound at a reasonable cost?? any suggestions? thanks for the info

I hate to be picky, but you said "single Cd changer" which doesn't exist. Is it a single play headunit or a multi disk changer? Which model?

Generally speaking, you can get a "decent" head this year for ~$179, a "nice" one for ~$249, a "good" for ~$350, and the top o the line is $500+
