Other than the design of the face plate, what are the major differences?
I bought a car that I'm going to use as a competition/point A to B vehicle. I'm wanting to get something with a HPF with separate sub controls. I've priced out both the 3500 and 3600 and can get the 36 cheaper. The deal is that the car I have only has one pair of speakers so I wouldn't need a 36 which I believe has 3 sets of pre-outs compared to the 35's 2 sets.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

i use the 3500 a lot in low budget installs, its a great deck and has two preouts, hpf, lpf, sub control, xm capability, and more, i like the face a little bit better than the 3600. I sell about four or five a month of the pioneers, very popular with people using a sub and stock speakers.
