Sony CDX-M610 Head Unit....Remote control doesn't work until I have been driving around for at least 30 minutes and car's interior warms up ..., then will start to work gradually..certain buttons will begin to work, then eventually all will work. Changed the batteries several times, but same thing. Seems like the car's interior has to be completely warm (almost hot) for the remote to control the HU completely. Thought it was the Remote unit...but tried a different remote (borrowed one from a shop) and the same thing. Anyone have any ideas ? What about the reset button on the front of the HU..I have never tried pressing it, as I was told that if I pressed it....I would have to have the unit reactivated by Sony...which would mean sending it to Sony or to a Service Ctr....is this true ? Can I just press the resest button without disabling my unit completely ? Any ideas about this remote ?
