My girlfriend has a JVC Kameleon the older model one. She went and got her oil changed one day and the deck worked fine before she dropped it off, when she picked it up it didnt work, it was on but no sound. So i took it out, unhooked all the speakers making sure each one worked and to make sure one wasnt blown and it worked fine again. She called me the next day and said it had no sound again, so i looked at it and couldnt figure anything out, then we went out later on that day and it worked fine. It keeps doing this, going in and out whenever it feels like it. All the fuses are good, everything is taped up nice and good, i know quite a bit about about car audio but this just puzzles me. What could be going on ? Thanks

loose ground connection is the first thing that comes to mind. take the hu out and run a new ground for that alone. dotn tap into the stock ground wire. if not then just start with the power wires and check beyond where the radio is attached for shoddy connections
