My friend has a nice new Jeep, stock stereo system. FM cuts out, (AM still comes through fine) So he sent it in to the shop TWICE, and each time the FM will stop working again after a few minutes or so... Any ideas?
Thanks...

maybe where the wire conncts to the antenna it coroded or even fairly loose. I had a same problem then my mom check ym antena and when she gave a little tug to see if she could look in the hole(women! [Roll Eyes] [Razz] ) it fell right out! so it may be a loose connection that touches and gets a signal every once and a while

This is a common problem with Chyrsler radios. Tell him to buy a new one.
