Well I got soooooo much crap from people on this one, I figured I should just post it and get on with my life .

We show up at Jefferson City for the Autosound Expert's show on the 16th of April. We get there about 8:30 in the morning. We brought 3 cars with our group....Nathan Jewet's Monte Carlo, Bruce Ferrell's Mazda MPV van, and Tim Zelade's Tracker.

It was a long long day.... we all qualified, and everyone did well. When it got down to the elimination rounds, Bruce took second to Danny Britain in the 3-4 SS class, Nathan Jewet (Alan Riley ) took 7th in the 1-2 SS class.....and well here is where the fun begins. It was time for Tim to do the final round of his bracket. We were up against a very well built Dodge Neon from Plante Car-Fi in Joplin (very cool guys), we pulled up into the lane of choice and got things ready...... We closed the Tracker all up and let Kent Walters (promoter and store owner) know that we were ready to go. Planet Car-Fi guys did the same. Well the clock started and we were off and going. The guys from Planet Car-Fi posted like a 155.7 or there abouts, and we had posted a whoppin' 103.5 or something like that. The tone burst should have played already, then I remembered. I FORGOT TO TURN ON THE STEREO. Since the head unit in the podium run's on 12V constant, I assumed it was on. But the stereo in the vehicle that turns the amps on was OFF!! hehehehe well, I caught hell from Tony Jordan, Team Pure Sound guys, and pretty much everyone else. But those guys from Planet Car-Fi were pretty happy. They deserve it..... But I will have you know that I will never live this one down

April 16th.....a day which will live in infamy.

You better...if you don't I think you should be exiled to the dB Drag Hall of Shame, which of course includes sitting in the loudest vehicle of the day for a few minutes!
