I was installing an amp for this hotty chick because hers had went kaput. Of course the footprint was the same because the amp was a depthcharge 100WX2 and she had a Old Jensen in there. Ok, so I am hooking up wires and stuff, and Naturally I hooked the ground up last....

...Into the +12v Side of the inputs. It was too late. Pop! fizzle. Soon the back seat of her car was completely filled with smoke (Like one of those SnoopDogg videos) and she came running out and was like WTF?
Needless I sent the amp in to claims, and replaced it from store stock, but I can't help but think... You know. I am supposed to be certified. I still didnt have the sense to pull the breaker under the hood.

Ive done that before on the lanzar 1200d, all it did wuz blow the fuses [Razz] It's power wiring markings are fairly confusing as the markings for +12, -, and rem are below the terminals and in a low light area these markings are hard to read, above the - terminal it says "Power" and in low light conditions its easy to accidentilly hook the + to this terminal [Razz]

Lemme get this straight... Your Honda Civic has 1.6 L whereas my bottle of Mountain Dew has 2? [Razz]
