just as i was about to start rebuilding my system and finally get a 9515, all my plans come to a hault. My Caravan is on it's last bit of life. turns out the o-rings went bad and oil decided to go the wrong way through the engine and mix with the fuel. the mechanic says the only fix is to get a used engine from the junker which will cost me $2000+. thats more then i paid for the van itself and don't have the money to put in to it. Guess it's time to start saving for a new car, and knowing how long it took me the first time i know it'll take forever this time too. depressing huh

I KNOW HOW YA FEELING! The connecting rods werw going in my 1995 grand am GT so I traded it in with STILL $2900 left to pay! and found a $6000 1997 toyota corolla so they tacked on what I owed for the grand am which payed it off... and on top of fees and taxes and ish.. I'll end up paying about $10,000 for a $6,000 car! YAY! !!!

I sure hate to see fellow mini van owners, have to get rid of their rides. Can you not find a decent used motor for cheaper than that? I can find em here in Canada for like $750.00 Canadian. I re did the whole top end of my 3.0L Plymouth Voyaguer for $400.00 Cnd I think that mechanic is juiceing you, Shop around. Save money to buy more equipment.
