hey ummm i dont want to sound like im saying your lying but we all know that nhra is the fastest cars in the world (326 mph in a funny car no less.....that was courtesy of john force) but they have a 90% nitro rule (as of the 2000 season it use to be 100% nitro) and still produce 5000 hp.....now if your dad had 8000 hp either one of two things would happen 1) no traction .....or 2) he would be the fastest man on earth and also the smartest because there no physical possibility with the rules and regulations of both nhra and ihra .......im sorry man but i cant believe 8000 hp and only 258 mph and 6 seconds at that....surely you would know that even with the 5000 hp of non super human drag racers they make the 1/4 in less than 4 seconds at over 300 mph....when at the hit of the throttal they imediatly feel the full 5 g's of force on thier chests.....how many g's does your dad see like 20? sorry dude but you havnt stated anything that could be possibly deamed the truth!!!

130 in 4th is not bad, my father has a M5 and was pulled over at 127 in 3rd. Thank the lord that I knew the cop or the both of us would have had a little talk with the judge in the morning. 0-60 is 4.8 and 13.3 in the 1/4. Top speed is limited to 156 stock but if you get the chip it will to as fast as the engine turns. Its one bad car.

you guys are still talkin about your cereal box cars?....geez im gonna hafta teach ya all!!!

I got to ride in a proto-type, before they were released to the public. We had it going 125 in 3rd gear. I was only 13 or 14 at the time, that was some serious ass hauling!

Wow, now I see what kind of jerks we have on the forum..

I dont drive or run the damn thing, my dad does. I was just making a generalization that it has alot of friggin horses. I know what kinda engine it has, and I know it goes around 260 mph, thats about it. Excuse me for trying to share something with the forum.

Did you not see the pic I posted of it??

I'm glad you know everything, and thank you for calling me a liar.

Would you like me to take some more pics of it.. and some pics of his new 48' enclosed trailor??

Once again, thanks alot. Thats what I get for trying to share.

So you like to talk crap about someone you dont know huh?

Well guess what, my dad has been drag racing since he was 16.. He's 46 now. Is 30 years enough experience for you? Are you even 30 years old??

He's been to two different racing schools, including Frank Hawley's NHRA Drag Racing School in California ( www.frankhawley.com ) and Roy Hill's Drag Racing School in N. Carolina ( www.racingschools.com/royhill ). He has several different NHRA certifications and has been working at Ford Motor Co. for about 30 years. I guess he doesnt know what he's doing though huh?

But since you know everything, I'll shut up now.

my jeep will do 115, where the governor kicks in, gets up there fast enough to beat about any rice around where I live, north bay CA, its fun, but after a little bit of travelling at 115, and there they go, right on by me, albeit not very fast, and sounding like they're four banger is going to explode. HAHA V8 jeep grand cherokees are pretty fast with a nice intake and exhaust on them. Around 245hp, and 330lb ft torque.

big dog dragsters have to be estimated for hp, they have put them on 5000 hp dynos, and they trash the thing. last i heard they estimate 6000 hp. 6000 hp DAMN! i have done a little over 150 in my 96 t/a (ran out of speedometer lol) equipt with s-trim vortech, just to keep up with the honda crowd. Its a 92.

It's half way there I got rims and 2 15s and a punch 800a2. my next door neighbor is making me a cowl hood for it now and I got limo tint all the way around. But it still needs hail damage removed before I get it painted. Barry wood lives down the road from me and his wagon is what I hope mine will look like when I am done. http://www.b-body.net/Gallery/Wagons/PowerTour/PowerTour2.html
