Ok, I had worked a full day at work, got up at 530am and worked til 330pm and gotten home about 430pm. I started to intall my speakers in the doors and rear cab and realized the 6.5" wouldnt fit into the doors. So here comes a long night. I break out my diagnal cutters "dikes" as called in the electrical trade. I didnt have any power tools, jigsaw or sawzall. After cutting for what seemed an eternity and 2 sore hands later, I finally got them to fit. I then proceeded to run the wire to my mids and tweets which were also installed in the door nest to the woofer. After dealing with trying to get the wire in the factory rubber boot forever I finally managed to get it and proceeded to run the wires through the dash and under the carpet to the xover location. About 1am I finally got to bed. This is my daily driver so I had to put the carpet back down, seats back in and seat belts etc.
Day 2 After about 4 hours of sleep the night before I start the day the same, get up abolut 530AM, get off work about 330PM get home about 430PM. Much to my excitement I start tearing the truck apart again, seats, carpet, etc. As I start trying to fit the 5x7 in the factory spot in the rear cab they didnt seem to fit either, damn the luck I am having the magnet was hitting the metal. Well after being upset for ahwile I decided to take the rubber magnet cover off and try them that way, to my surprise they worked but just barely. So on I go with running the wire for the rear speakers. About 6PM I get interupted by a door to door salesman. Come to find out he was "giving away" ADT home alrm systems. So I listened to what he had to say and told him my g/f would be home in a couple hours to call or come back by, so about 645 after I got all the info I got back to work. As I just about finish getting all the wire ran for my rear speakers my g/f shows up and the guy was still in the neighborhood and sees her so he comes back over upon my invitation. We talk for a while and ask a lot of questions and sign the 3 yr contract. Been in the market for home security anyway and ADT is a wel known name. The guy leaves about 930 as we had a ton of questions. He leaves we eat dinner etc. next thing I know it is about 1030PM and I go back to work. I get my sub enclosure put in and install my amps and finally got everything hooked up and now for the test, the time is now about 130AM. When I back the truck out of the garage and turn the H/U on first thing I noticed was the balance and fader messed up. How can this be? I marked all my wires before I hooked them up so i would know what went where. Long story short, Mike AKA Mabeita, was online and helped me to find my own stupidity. I had all the wires marked, and knew what went where but simply hooked them into the wrong channels on the amp. After getting them into the right spots I am thinking I finally got it. Turn it back on and I notice the front drivers side mid isnt working, ugh! After Mike helping me again I realize I had the input from the amp on the tweet and the tweet on the input and the mid had no power. After I get that straightened out it worked. I finally managed to get to bed about 430AM and got up for work, you guessed it at 530AM. I guess bottom line here is sleep deprivation can make you do some stupid stuff. Take yout time and if you are tired dont mess with it. I got lucky and dint blow anything but you may not be so lucky.

Well thanks. Actually I am pretty happy with it..................for now! lol. I am already planning on rebuilding, or should I say, Upgrading. I am now thinking of trading my W3D4 for W3D2 and running 4 of these on either 2 BD1000, or waiting for the BD1500 and using 1 of them. Also maybe an 800a4 for the mids and highs......and a swwwwweeeeeet custom install, done by me of course....
