looking into a spal door popper kit. 7ch, so it could roll up/down windows, pop each door, and pop my hatch.

After that, all that's left is the hood. I would like to hook a solenoid up there as well, and pop it by hitting the horn. I figure if a thief is gonna pop the hood to clip the siren, the last thing they'd do would be to hit the horn, or i'd hear it anyway (hopefully). Is this possible without screwing anything up.

And yes, i would hook up a hidden switch somewhere to disable the solenoid for when i'm driving. Wouldn't want someone to pull out in front of me, hit the horn and my hood goes flyin. [Eek!]

Thanks.

well, it sounded like a good idea, but i see a problem. If some **** was to mess with my ride, the alarm would go off, therfore sounding the horn, and popping the hood for them. That's no good. Still will hook a solenoid or something up there to lock it. Maybe make it so if the hood is opened in whatever way the horn would go off steady.

any ideas?
