i am just starting out and we had a guy with a 1984 mercedes benz 500sec and it has the vaccum door locks. so the installer who is training me and another installer both said they would not touch the car. what is the deal with these locks and what should i know about them?

I Hate installers that do that. I can understand on some cars, but the fact is they know they can do it, but dont want to cause its a little harder.
