ok next question. i got the main power and accessory hooked up for the module. now im on to all the multiple pin connectors. it says the tachometer wire is a tan and yellow wire toward the top of the passenger side firewall. is this on the inside or outside? if it on the inside it is going to be very hard to get to.

alright, found it on the outside. im just going to tap into it with a longer wire and run it through the firewall with the rest of my smaller power wires. wow, remote start can suck. i had no idea.

i work at a shop and have had several people come in talk about bulldog, and the wiring on their is totally wrong.
i use audiovoxs website, if you have a bulldog as well watch out, they have been known to melt stuff lol

if i dont have a stock alarm system, i wont see the factory disarm wire will i? i dont know so im asking. if i do have one, i guess ill use it. i bought the car used and it didnt have any chip in key, no keyless, and no alarm to my knowledge. it did have power, though.

if there is no chip in key then there is no alarm. the wire will be there but not used. there is VERY few ford in the late 90s that didnt have a chip in the key. dose the truck remote start?

no, im installing that, but having a freaking hard time doing so. there are like 5 wires on the main 9pin harness for the module that i cant figure out where they go. the diagram was wrong for my tach wire, but i think i found the right one. the unit im installing is a avital 4100 i think. im also confused as to how it is going to alarm. there is no siren included with the stuff, and it doesnt say anything about hooking in to the stock horn.
