This weekend I started having problems with my Viper 791XV it been installed on the car for a few months no prob then this weekend, now "everytime" you arm the alarm it triggers it self within 3min of being armed what is the prob?www.U-C-IT.com

I wouldn't doubt it since the car has been painted but it just started back working normally today...www.U-C-IT.com

Did you happen to check the LED blinks/flashes after the alarm went off?

no when it was doing it I would be watching over the car and it would just be going off for no reason (it was raining; not hard all the time but constant)www.U-C-IT.com

i place my vote on a pinswitch...constant rain can "complete" the circuit and cause it to trigger..if there is a leak near the switch.(since it was recently painted im sure a switch was knocked outta whack)

Pull a event history and see what zone triggered the alarm.
