try to unplug the unit again and start with key.
You should not have a problem starting it. What bypass did you use for the transponder? Only way car should not start is if it does not get a signal from a key or the programmed interface or you cut a wire and do not have it connected properly.

something is wrong with your bypass, try reconnecting the wire you cut and see what happens.

Ended up trying three different bypasses none worked...Disconnect the bypass everything works fine...Something with her passlock....Used one of the bypasses in another truck..Works fine.

Maybe you were tapping the wrong wires or not making a solid enough connection. There are several possibilities with passlock...

02 Grand Prix has a transponder keys. I am never used those interfaces so I cant help you on it. But it sounds like either your not programming it right, you have constant power and GWR when you should not, or your connecting into the wrong wire. If I had the info from that bypass I might be able to help more.

Impossible. It IS equipped with transponder keys. They started in 2000 on all grand prixs. You need an interface for the keys. If you look close they should have PK3 on the metal just under the plastic or rubber.

I do not use DEI so I can not help you on that. But from they way it sounds... you got an interface staying on. It will start when remote starting but when you try it with the key without the remote start running the computer sees 2 signals and locks up. I am assuming your refering to a 2000 Olds Silhouette equipped with the PK3 keys.
