Compustar is a good reliable system, but it does cost about $500-$600 at last I read in 2000.

I know lots of people that own the viper model and for the most part people love them. I know of one person that owned a compustar and has nothing but problems with it. [Wink]

I have the compustar spread spectrum. They are good alarms that leave something to be desired on the sensors packaged with it. If you want to remote start a manual, have a turbo and want extreme range then go for the compustar.
