Where is the best place to put my shock sensor???? I just bought a new alarm and I installed it myself but I turned the shock all the way up and I can open the door and get in before it will go off, I can even stand on the bumper!!!! So I think it has to do with where the sensor is... I currently have it under the dash... Can anyone give me some advice??? ????

I've had good luck with some shock sensors on the ignition harness under the dash, on the steering column it's self (my preferred), out under the hood on a shock tower works good too. Just make sure it's mounted SOLID, and it should work fine.

Remember a "shock" sensor is made to detect a sudden blow to the vehicle. It sounds like you are using it as a means of detecting entry to the vehicle. It is primarily made to detect glass breakage. As for where, I usually strap them to the steering column. Remember it must be mounted solid. To test it you should slap your windshield with your palm. Hope this helps.
