I noticed in another post that you are a locksmith. I was curious if there is something I can do to prevent my truck's doors from being jimmied. Any suggestions?

I can scan a schematic of my doors if it would be helpful.

Anything is possible. Although it would be very difficult in this case. There is no "off the shelf" solution for this, that I know of.
I guess you could diassemble the door and install a flat piece of metal along the window on the outside. This would make it very difficult to insert a tool into the door.
Although we now have a tool that will spread the door from the body without damage, allowing us to open the vehicle without inserting a tool into the door cavity. We use it mostly on cars with side impact airbags. It would be very difficult to prevent entry with one of these tools.
Bottom line, if you can open it, so can someone else. Nothing is going to work for sure. I tell customers to add "layers" of protection when it comes to better security. Everything you do helps. What you are asking is extreme, but like I said everything helps.

I would recommend a good alarm, and some good insurance.
Hope this helps.
