this shop said that they would do it for $499. He said retail it was $599. Sound like too much? But anyways, this thing looks amazing. So nobody has actually seen this thing in person, on a car yet or what?

damn, I'm the only one responding to my own topic....anyways.....what about the antenna for this thing? Is it gonna be a big ass antenna or is it hidden or what? Also does it come with a sensor to trigger the alarm when the hood or trunk is opened?

i have not seen this in person yet . i may be a little confused about it now . some people say it isnt availible until nov. so it makes me wonder if the shop i went to and i are talking about the same alarm . im going tomarrow to find out for sure and if it is the responder that's avalible i will be getting it installed within a week . not sure about the antenna , but i can find out tomarrow when i go . ill find out about the zones it covers also .

Well, when I went to this place on Tuesday, the guy said he just ordered them. I guess they just became available so some shops dont have them yet.

I went into my local shop and they showed me the new viper w/responder. Their price was $449 installed. Lifetime warranty on parts and labor too.
