i found remote control deadbolts for your car. but the problem is they are $200 for a set. anybody know of a similar product for cheaper? i want to deadbolt the back and side doors of my van, but i also want to easily be able to remove them to show off my install. i like the ones on that site because the only way to get the door open is with the included remote control. i don't know if i want to spend that much. i was thinking that if i did, i would get them, plus a cheap alarm with two sensors for the passenger and driver side doors.

A little late in replying to this, but hey, better late than never.

You can achieve the same results by installing a good alarm, and picking up some door lock actuators, some metal rod material, and some angle iron. If you want it to be hidden like that DoubleLock system you can just drill a couple small holes for the metal "rod" to pass through to act as the deadbolt, then mount your door lock actuator/s in the door/s where you want them, and attach them to the metal rod, so that when activated (connect to the alarm so it locks when armed, and unlocks when disarmed) it slides the metal rod through the holes you drilled, and secures the doors. It's a pretty simple concept, and will save you a lot of money in the long run. If you are considering an alarm anyway, then you will already HAVE the remote system, just need to wire up the actuators to it, and install it all properly to make it work the way you want.

I'm working on a similar system for one of my personal vehicles that has a rear hatch that doesn't automatically lock, so that it will deadbolt itself upon arming the alarm.

Good Luck.

thats what i was about to say also, and you can get the actuators online at ebay from a good seller, i got 2, 6 bucks each, with 5 bucks s&h for one and 1 buck per item extra. 18 bucks wasnt too bad of a deal i would say!
