Do any of you remember the smoke / fog machines available for cars several years ago? Does anyone know where I can get one? I want to add one of these to my security system so the low-life gets disoriented by the smoke and strobes and doesn't see the Auto taser...ZAP!!!

Thanks!

Sleeping gas??

Some alarms have antijacking devives in them so it's armed when you're driving

this calls attention to you if your window was broken and your they try to jack your car.

what if you were driving down the road and your car's window gets broken somehow.

sleeping gas wouldn't be a good idea in that situation would it?

but if you're alarm doesn't get armed when your driving that'll be a cool idea..
I'd love to see that in a parking lot..

Most security systems which have the
anti-carjack features, aren't actually
'armed' while driving. They are basically
just in a 'ready' state. Meaning that if
it receives a trigger from the door pin
switch, or whatever it is set up for, it
then cycles through seveeral attention
getting steps. First step might be just
the led blinking to let you know the
cycle has started. Then comes the
blinking lights, horn, and/or siren.
Obviously thieves wouldn't like that
attention, so they may try to shut the
car off, and then it won't restart until
you enter the code. If you open the door
for any other reason and the countdown
starts, you simply enter the code and it
will stop before it cycles through the
other steps.

hehe, dont forget! In some countrys its LEGAL to put lethal devices for car jacking protection. How about putting metal finger plates on the steering wheel and running those to something like an ignition coil device. KA-ZAP!!!

I remember those alarms! I can actually see in my minds eye, the ad they had in CA&E.. I cant remember the name though, was it something like dragon or something like that? Good idea, however, I wouldn't feel comfortable driving a car that I know can smoke you out. What IF something malfunctioned at 70 and you all of a sudden couldn't see past the end of your nose???? Tasers on the other hand, would be totally Kewl, like the little electode thingys go under a door handle or something like that so you dont get your nuts bit off by one on the radio or something...

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...
