can anyone tell me how to get the rear deck off of a 99 cavalier 4 door.

i got my g/f some new 6x9's and i can't get the damn things in. they need to be dropped in from the top but i can't get the deck off.
i've NEVER had a problem installing anything before, so this is a little embarassing to ask [Roll Eyes]
