I need suggestions on what sounds better. I am putting in two 12's and i want to know which way i should fire my subs... downward? forward slanted upwards? Anyone know what the best way to fire them is?

In my 99 Ranger i'm fireing my slanted twards the seat. 144 with 2 12 L7's and a JBL 1200.1 amp.

we used a band pass for two jl 12"subs and fired the ports forward. with the rear channels of a MA Audio hc-502, it dashed at 149db. the boxes were humongous, we ended up pulling them out, and are now trying different things. i miss those boxes.
