can someone tell me how top go through the firewall of my explorer this is the only part of the instalation im not sure of i know i need a grommet where can i get one to fit 4 gauge wire because that is what im using

You should have a few factory ones that you can go through. You might have to do some searching, but they are there. No need to make any extra holes.

Hi
I use a piece of thick wire insulation cutted along, and fitted-glued as a ring = grommet, for difficult size-shape sheet metal holes...

i went and got a PCV valve groment for a Toyota and it works real nice for 2ga
