Can You Use Power Wire as Speaker Wire? I'm short on speaker wire and wondering if my left over PG 8 Gauge power wire could be used as speaker wire?

I use 8ga a lot for woofer cable. It fits the terminals better than 4.....

yep...The difference it the coating on the wire. Other then that its basically the same.

You can even use telephone wire, it just won't sound as good as speaker wire.

I thought that getting some barbed wire chromed would look cool inside a plexi box.
Dunno on the resistance end though...

I think Barbed wire will introduce sharp impedance spikes

into the sound system.
