Supz all, i have reccently purchased a 93' toyota mini truck. so far system wise i have put in the source unit, 2 4"s and 2 6 x 9"s. They sound very good together but im looking to go a step further with some subs. There is no place for a box anywhere in the cab though because its just insanely small. So im thinking the next best thing would be the bed. I have a fiberglass flat bed cap on there but im wondering if you would still be able to hear quality bass through the cap and also through the cab walls. A few people have told me to cut a hole in the cab but thats not an option because the two are not connected there is a one inch gap seperating the cab and bed.

But my question is would i be able to hear quality sound through my cap and the cab???

And if not would it be advisable to put some 6's or 8's in the doors????

Do a blow through (cut a hole like your friends said). This will work good and can be VERY loud. A guy in town here has 12 JLW1 12's in a blow-through in a small truck like that and hits high 150's .. just have to do the job properly!

all trucks have a gap between the bed and the cab once you cut the hole you can go to a truck accessory store and buy a rubber boot that will go around the inside of the hole, and seal the gap creating a water tight seal between the bed and cap. the rubber boot is like 8 or 9 dollars a foot If you cant find any let me know, there is a store down the road from me that has it.
