My supply of grommets is depleted.

Where can I buy some? I looking for the ones that are hard plastic with the flanges that stick out.

I got my old ones from a friend that worked at best buy.

Are you talking for running 4ga through the firewall??? If so, I like using shaft boots, they just seem to work SO damn good! You could also try www.selectproducts.com , I'm sure they'll have everything you ever wanted!!!

www.partsexpress.com

or you can find them at Home Depot or Lowe's Hardware stores...

They are usually in the area with all the little drawers with various nuts, bolts, fasteners, etc...

I'm not looking for firewall grommets, Have you guys seen when an amp or whatever is mounted, then the wires are ran underneth into the wood. Well those little grommets. There usually about 1/4" to 3/8" long. I don't know maybe a distributor will have them as well?

Pretty much any custom car audio store should be able to get the hard plastic grommets you seek. DLC sells them, as well as most of the other parts houses.

For 4ga I like to use the female half of a speaker grill snap. Shaft boots are becoming scarce!

Those plastic grommets are what many places use for going though firewalls and doing custom amp boards and such. They are available from any decent installation facility or most supply stores / catalogs. They are generally available in 1/8" - 1" in size. If your near southern MN, I have tons of every size in stock.

well, If you have a tax ID number...Stinger / Aamp of America and Micro come to mind. If not, go to a dealer and buy them in bulk. You should be able to get a bag (100) for less than $10. They may need to order them in though.

When you get a tax # and want to get Stinger, do you have to go through reps or do you order directly from them?

MOST companies order through a rep firm of some sort. you may have a hard time without a storefront though...
For this situation I would turn to DLC, Recoton/Soundquest or one of the other major supply houses that doesn't sell much 'branded' gear.

Yes, Dukk's info is correct. As for Stinger, the Stinger line is distributed (exclusively) by Aamp of America. They have no outside reps or "stocking" distributors

We do a little DEI,

The Hornet line (mostly 553's) and other remote start stuff, and then security accessories.

hey Jeff... lil bit of a topic change... ( sorry fellas..) but what is the going rate for IDQ 15"s..2 Ohm DVC?? I am thinking of going with Image Dynamics or Shockers. The only reason I am starting to shy away from the Shockers, is the box size. I wanted to keep the box in my hatch area of my Honda Civic. It is a tight squeeze to say the least. I know of one or two places in San Antonio that carry ID, but they are never open, or answer the phone.

Thanks for the time.

Gabriel
