Hello. My fiancee is hooking up his new system in his car and is not sure how to connect three speakers. He has three 12 inch Rockford fosgate punch subwoofers. He also has a Kenwood 785s amp which has the following specs: 2ohms = 150*2, 4ohms = 100*2, 4ohms (bridged) = 300*1. He needs to know how to connect them and is not sure which way is best. He is looking for the best bass and more power. He isn't sure which way will give him the results he is looking for. If you can tell me which way he needs to wire them please let me know. I really appreciate your time.

two questions need to be answered first.

How many voice coils are on each sub? dual or single voice coil.

Next, what is the impedance of each coil? 2Ohm, 4Ohm, 8Ohm...

This information is important and will help determine the best possible wiring setup.

There is a single coil.
The impedance of each coil is 8Ohm...

Use Paralel wiring, All positives of each woofer to the bridged mono + of the amplifier. And All the speakers negatives to the - (negative) bridged mono.
A fourth woofer would work better, or 4-4 Ohm woofers.

"A fourth woofer would work better,"

Oh my, Eli recommending a 2 ohm mono load. Everyone, mark this one on the calendar.

First Audiophyle goes ported and now Eli goes 1 ohm. What are things coming too!
