Someone posted a review on carsound that basically said the stopping mechanism is great, but that the saw is not that good. Second hand info, so take it for it is.
I like the idea. I've seen enough pictures posted on webpages of people who got into a fight with tables saws that I'm overly cautious when using mine.

Hey.... I needed one of those tablesaws last weekend. I would probably have use of my index finger right now if I did have one. Yes, I just about lost the index finger of my left hand. I found out one very important thing, never use a table saw that doesn't have the blade guard on it. Sorry pic is so blurry, but you can sorta see what the finger looked like Monday.

No problem Andy. If I would have thought about it, I probably would have done a link instead. I'm pretty used to seeing it by now so didnt think anything of it.

hehe, yea I had to post here, as well as a few other places. Just wanted people to see what working a tablesaw without the blade guard can do, if given the chance.
Stitches are now removed. I can move my finger about halfway without any problem, then it starts getting painfull. Everything seems to be healing up real nice, well, about as nice as a person can expect (right now). It's actually starting to look like a finger again.
