Batcaps aren't daily use equipment honestly. Skip batcaps.. skip Optimas... get two Northstar NSB125's for in back, one Northstar NSB75 for under the hood and a 200 amp alternator with idle preformance. Make sure you properly ground your battery under the hood, motor to chassis, and batterys in back. Run a good strand of 1/0 from the alternator to the battery under the hood, and then back to the NSB125's if you can't beat around all day with 2200watts on that something is wrong seriously. If you don't know what a Northstar NSB125 is for a battery get an Stinger SP1000 for under the hood and 2 Stinger SP1700's for in the back. Stinger also makes a bad assed alternator.. I've seen it in action night and day over OEM. I've built many a street beater system when I was installing... and trust me when I say the above it's all you'll need. If it's good enough for a Green Bay Packer it's good enough for the rest of us. LOL
Good choice on the HiFonics amps.
