I'd just like to start off by saying I'm only 17, and have very little installing experience. I've installed a HU, replacement speakers, amps, and subs. I've built sealed boxes before, but never ported. That said, I'd like to say that I'm asking this question here instead of on SoundDomain (which is where I generally read/answer/ask posts) because you guys seem to be the more technical of the two forums. Basically, my question is this--I know you just don't plug a whole in a box and call it ported, because people say they've "tuned" their box to certain frequencies, so how exactly is a ported box designed and built??? Please be as thorough as you can, thank you.
