Will running a 4 guage wire from the battery to a distro block, then 8 gauge to the amps be sufficent? I already have a 500a2 RF AMP for the subs, and i'm thinking of adding either RF 400a4 or 600a4 for the front/rear speakers. Which one should i get and will work for the 4/8 gauge.

i believe that the wiring would be suffiecent for one more amp but probably not two.

4 gauge might be a little to small, you would lose alittle bit, you can try to run 2 gauge or 1/0 to the distro block. I know those are big and hard to hide under carpet, but it can be done, or you can run it under the car with a piece of PVC cut in half to go over it for protection, then just drill up into the trunk, making sure not to hit anything vital like a gas, brake line or even the spare tire if its there. and always use the ruber gromet when passing wire through metal. hope that helps
