I have a regular cab F-150 and I removed the rear window and then removed the front window of the cap added a 3.5" accordian boot to go between. I cut a sheet of wood a little bit larger than the size of the window cut out and cut out the space for my 2 15's in and made a stand for the box to sit on and I have a problem I straped the box forward and screwed the box to the sheet for the window but it does not want to stay tight against the boot. I know that I can drill holes through the cap but I don't want to mess the cap up. Does anyone have any suggestions on someway to maybe fasten it to the cap from inside the be that will be a real good strong hold?

this should work get some real strong slycone, and put it on edge of the box, where it will meet the cap the make a diagnal brace thatr will go from the bed to the back of the box, then when you screw the brace in to the bed and box, it will allpy enough pressure to hold the box where you want it
i would avoild drilling the screw holes in the cap, if somting happened it would rip a nice size chunk out of your cap
------------------ i would get some expensive subs but my shockers are just too damn loud

good idea I will try that. A friend suggested using something called ROC when I was putting the boot in he said it is made for putting windshields in and he said that it gets as hard as like tire rubber, have you ever heard anything about it?
