I hear many good things about the OZ 250L on this forum and others, I have heard one and indeed it sounded fantastic when powered off a small zapco amp accompanied by OZ 6.5's off a audison amp. What I can't figure out is why they are So Cheap!. I can't get over the old 'you get what you pay for' addage. When considering SQ subs, I'm considering Focal 27K & 27W etc, but these are 3 and 4 times the price of the OZ. I like the OZ, but how would it compare to other such expensive equipment assuming each particular sub is ideally amplified and enclosed. Loudness doesn't overly concern me, reality does.
Can anyone explain why OZ L series are so damn cheap? and how they compare to more expensive SQ sub offerings?
Thanks for your input, its greatly appreciated
