I have been looking at the Autophile webpage lately and was wondering how these things sounded. Any of you guys heard a set? If so, could you describe the tonal qualities of the drivers. I would listen to them myself, but North Carolina is a long way from California!

I would have to assume that The Autophile has someone making them for him. With that assumption, I'd try to find out who OEMS the drivers, then try to listen to a pair from the same manufacturer, and that should give you a general idea. If it someone like peerless, scanspeak, morel, dynaudio or the likes, they will probably sound pretty damn good!

Audiophyle is correct. Our S.P.S. is manifactured for us by E.J.Jordan designs in the UK (by the way, this is clearly stated at the bottom of our web page) and the driver is based on the Jordan JX53 driver........
