I'm in need of some help. I have a set of 5.25" JL XR componants in the front of my car ('98 Sunfire GT). The mids are mounted in the door behind the stock grill and the tweets are mounted in the factory door pods that are molded into the grills in the lower front doors. The pods are angled and image pretty well, especially for a stock set up. Both doors are dynamatted. The problem is that, all of the sudden, those grill/pods vibrate worse than a back massager. It sounds so bad, I don't even want to listen to radio. For the past three months I've had no problems, until now. They vibrate in the 100-300 Hz range with any type of music (especially male voices and midbass)and at almost any volume level. Any ideas why this problem came from nowhere? How to correct it?
Sorry so long,
Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem in my car and it was caused by the little plastic clips on the door panels wearing out and i just replaced them and it was good to go......or sheet metal screws work good too if the material on the door will hide the heads.

I'm going to pull the door panel off again this weekend, so I'll pick up a set of clips. I have a funny feeling that it's the grill itself that vibrating, but it couldn't hurt to replace the door clips.
Thanks for the advise.
