Hey guys. In the near future i'll be walling off and sealing the trunk right behind the seats for the pair of pioneer subs in my install gallery (10" 350 rms, nothing too special...gunna hoepfully be getting a pair of the 12" pioneer spl's soon.. [Smile] ) and i was wondering if going sealed is a good idea. Ive heard not so good things about front-facing sealed setups in the past (or is this just bass-heads who r saying this cuz sealed isnt loud/boomy enough?..if you think this will be fine sq-wise, lemme know cuz i would rather go sealed..thanks) I will most likely be going ported unless someone can tell me otherwise, but what port size/internal volume will give me the best sound quality? and should i line the inside with extra sound-absorbing material to cut down on the 'blary' or 'boomy' bass that i usually dont like. I like to get that deep, booming bass every now and then and crank it...but usually i like snappy, tight bass. Any light to be shed on the topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
